Location:

  1. Location: Haven Ranch๐Ÿ“5194 N Lake Mountain Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 (May pull up as “Friends in Need” in Google Maps โ€” same place!)

Before You Go

  • You can bring food to feed the animals – produce works great! (I bring produce from home that is about to go bad) Watch for signs on-site, as some animals have special diets.
  • You will drive on a short dirt road to get there, you’re going the right way, keep going!
  • Once you park, head to the right side of the house. That’s where the animals are!

What to Bring

  • Closed toe shoes
  • Jacket / Coat if cold outside
  • Optional items
    • Hand sanitizer
    • Wipes
    • Feed for animals

Best Time to Visit

Early afternoon is the sweet spot. In wet months the property can get muddy, so wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. It can also get busy during events, so check their Facebook page beforehand to see what’s coming up.

Getting There + Parking

Getting there: Enter 5194 N Lake Mountain Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 into your GPS. When Lake Mountain Road turns to dirt, you’re going the right way. Look for an open gate and a house with a blue roof – that’s the place. The animals are on the right side of the house (southeast). The left side (northeast) is used for community events.

Parking: There’s parking just inside the entrance on the right. If it’s full, you can park just outside the gate off the street.

Bathrooms: A porta potty is available on the property.

Stroller friendly: Not really. It can get muddy and is uneven. A baby carrier or hiking backpack is a much better option.
